Jon and Missy Butcher Bring Sexy Back

Part 6 in the MindValley Reunion=Mind Blown series, which continues next week

http://mylifebook .com/blog/jon-butcher-before-and-after/

The picture above is Jon Butcher at 29 and at 49.

You may not recognize Jon and Missy Butcher, but I’ll bet you know what Precious Moments are. Jon’s father is the original artist, and Jon now runs that company plus a multitude of other successful businesses.

He’s been introduced as having the “most perfect life” and he and his wife, Missy, were brought up on stage at the MindValley Reunion with the moniker “Sexiest Grandparents Alive.”

We saw a video recorded in their home. It’s hard not to envy them. Their house is one of the most artful, inspiring homes that exists on the planet. Jon is responsible for a lot of the art, but certainly, along with Missy, is the visionary behind his reality, which is probably even more exotic, exciting and serene, even, as you could imagine in your wildest dreams.

I cannot share a lot of the content of what they shared with us at the MindValley Reunion in San Diego last month, because they are private people and the live audience was much like a pilot test group to see how their most intimate secrets would be received. The topic was very adult in nature.

Here is what I feel is okay to share: They attribute their ability to create such a life-by-design to their sex life and their habits.

It’s not the first time I’ve heard this, actually. The concept of orgasmic manifestation goes back to the Kama Sutra, perhaps even further. It was something on my radar that I had been investigating even before the MindValley Reunion.

This practice is based on the fundamental belief that sexual energy is the #1 most powerful creation energy there is, and that it can be harnessed to bring forth in your life what you want most.

If you didn’t know this about me already, I am a personal and professional development junkie. I love learning about new discoveries or new applications of ancient discoveries, and the science behind them, to help me and to help others achieve new breakthroughs in careering that lead to greater fulfillment and happiness in other realms of life. I consider my life to be a lab where I can experiment with these concepts, and pass on to you what I found worked.

I cannot yet speak to this particular kind of practice, but I have every intention of trying it.

I did invest in multiple other programs at the Reunion, which is actually against my best practices of only doing one program at a time, enhancing my chances of doing a program well and getting the most out of it. I am in three programs right now, one being MyLo. This is an online program based off of Jon and Missy’s live Lifebook program, which provides structure and guidance around creating habits that achieve balance in 12 critical realms of life, one of which is love, but is not specific to sex.

While, as I mentioned, I cannot break my commitment to keep the intimate content confidential, and I have not officially started the MyLo program yet to share any results, I would very much like to share with you my takeaways from the event that were specific to sex for couples.

#1 – Stay sexy for each other. This was not really a lesson they taught as much as it was something that they demonstrated. Honestly, I’ve let myself go in the last year or so. I had reached a great size and felt strong, but some of the attention from people outside my marriage started to feel uncomfortable. My husband is not very particular about what shape I am in, but I know that I feel sexy and confident when I feel strong and lean, when my clothes fit well and flatter me, and when I have stamina to do very active, adventurous things. In my own introspection I have recognized a resentment of any expectation to be some kind of Stepford wife. I value comfort and utility more than I value superficial beauty. I can clean up real nice and know how to dress up and apply make-up, but I don’t invest a lot of time or energy to it. Part of my M.O. is rebellion. I will be the only parent at the bus stop in pajamas. Part of what I love about running a home-based business is NOT having to dress up and put on make-up every day. That consumes time that I could be using to accomplish something, help someone, write this blog, meditate, whatever. I have been more consciously choosing to wear clothes that I find comfortable, but that make me feel more feminine and sensual around my husband.

#2 – Make making time a priority, a habit, and a pleasure. I’ve heard other relationship coaches promote a weekly date night, or sex night. What Jon and Missy put into their date nights are definitely an extreme upgrade from the conventional dinner or movie and a romp. They encourage you to invest time in the planning and primping and have some best practices to optimize the focus on intimacy and block out all potential disruptions, including updates on the kids from babysitters, barring there isn’t an emergency, of course. They have tricks for bringing in all the senses – smell, taste, feel, sight, hearing. They encourage you to use this time, not for business, but for discussing what you want to create in the future – places you want to travel, fun projects you want to work on together. Of course, they also dedicate an hour daily to reconnecting and relaying the business of the day.

#3 – There is a lot of junk around sex – I’m talking about shame, guilt, resentment, fears, insecurities, etc. that completely detract from the level of pure enjoyment that is possible. It’s a pity. It’s not easy to just leave in the past, either. It can manifest in so many ways, and like all emotions, what we resist persists, so if we fail to address it because it is such a taboo topic in our society, it will show up as a saboteur without our conscious awareness. Not sex itself, but all the negative emotions around it, can be a relationship killer when it could be what helps us feel connected with our carnal, sensual nature.

This sounds pretty common sense, doesn’t it? The key isn’t just knowing, however – it’s doing, and doing consistently, which means forming habits. Habits enable you to put on autopilot. Once something is a habit, you don’t have to think about it, you don’t have to decide. It’s something that is done. Jon and Missy have mastered the art and science of creating good, meaningful habits that have built the foundation for a Epic life. I am very excited to start learning, and certainly to master for myself, this system.

In the meantime, I believe their very exotic secrets are being reserved only for the MindValley community. You can go there if you want to know more. You can also attend Laurie-Ann King’s free webinar on the Orgasmic Manifesting System. It is on my list of courses to explore further once I complete the 6-week MyLO course. Unlike Missy and Jon’s program, which seemed to be very focused on couples, Laurie’s course starts with a self-serve tutorial, and does not require a partner at all, though she does then move into how to manifest with a partner.

So, what does this have to do with careers?

Jon and Missy created LifeBook to make sure that all realms of their lives received equal attention, effort and love for a truly balanced life. We tend to think we can compartmentalize our lives and keep one bad area from impacting the good ones. That just isn’t how I have seen life working.

Sometimes achieving a breakthrough in your career first starts with a breakthrough in your health, and vice versa. Often a breakthrough in a relationship evolves into a breakthrough in your finances.

You may want a coach who can strictly focus on your career, and there are plenty of them out there. For the past several years, however, as I have started to take what I am learning and applying it to my career coaching, the results have been astounding. Now that I know that I can not only help my clients land a job, but help them achieve a peace of mind that they have never had before, I don’t want to be limited in how I serve my clients to just their careers.

I see much more clearly now how often you can trace back why someone isn’t successful in an interview to an event in their past that had them believing that they were not good under pressure, or had to be ashamed of something.

I also see how some people are investing a whole lot of energy and hope to land a job that ultimately will not bring them fulfillment and a sense of purpose.

If your life is something you desire to improve, look beyond the surface. Evaluate other areas of your life. How you do one thing is often how you do many things.

Self-driving life???

Part 5 in the MindValley Reunion=Mind Blown series, which continues next week

Remember when a hand-sized computer was a thing of science fiction? Technology is evolving exponentially, and while we have glimpses right now of technologies that could radically alter our lives, our work, and our communities, such as self-driving cars, we have just as many reasons to want things the way they were – simpler.

At the MindValley Reunion last month in San Diego, Jeffrey Allen, a former Department of Energy Engineer turned Energy Healer, pointed out an eye-opening parallel between self-driving cars and self-driving lives. What this means, is that we are shifting from a paradigm of “doing” to “being.”

In other words, right now you have to drive – get in your car, start it up, keep your foot on the gas, break, steer, and stay completely alert to avoid mistakes of other drivers and avoid making mistakes yourself. Otherwise, BOOM – you crash. This is a high-stakes activity, and stress increases when you have to make decisions with minimal information. But if you didn’t have to do that, then you could read, watch a movie, take a guitar lesson, eat and drink, and a myriad of other things.

In a self-driving life, you don’t have to strive. You don’t have to punch a time card, commute, labor, attend meetings, spend hours in front of your computer, clean, or make any other effort unless you want to, unless you are inspired to. You do as you are inspired to do. The rest is just a focus on your being – your mindset, your heartset, and your bodyset – How you are being.

A lot of Americans supported Trump for his promises to revive the coal mining industry and domestic manufacturing, to save jobs, and get depressed economies back to work. If your career has been impacted by the shift to newer technologies, then this seemed like salvation.

If you were raised to believe your value is in what you do, then this shift is probably more than a little unsettling, and it probably seems wrong and against everything you have been taught. Plus, you are justified in feeling very much like your skills have been considered obsolete, and that creates a deep need to defend your skills and your value, and fight the shift any way you know how.

There is an innate resistance to change and that is all thanks to our brain. That doesn’t mean we can’t eventually reach a place of enthusiastic adoption, especially if the changes mean an easier life.

Does the following statement make you feel relieved, angry, or confused?

You do not have to be, do, or have anything in order to be valued or loved as a person.

Your vocation is not your value.

Even if you are against the idea of allowing people to just be rather than having to hustle, I want you to imagine right now what YOUR life would be like if you could do less, strive less, and have all of your needs fulfilled?

BE in that feeling.

Right now your logical brain may find this hard to conceive, let alone believe. How could this be?

Every day new awareness is pulling us toward a collective, undeniable truth, and as we evolve as open-minded, open-hearted, open-spirited receptacles of new awareness and intuition, we gain wisdom as to which actions will be the most meaningful, impactful, and productive. That is what creates greater ease AND time.

But in the meantime, we face conflict. Those who want things to stay as they are and those who are further along in accepting and adopting the change are pulling and pushing. We will all weave in and out of four different stages (below) of living between resistance and allowing, and can even be all of them simultaneously:

A – Survival, material living

B – Still doing for material living, but decisions are more influenced by pulling of the heart and soul

C – More fully heart-driven, but at risk of self-righteousness that leads to inability to accept people in A and B

D – Balanced between spirit and mind.

Eventually Jeffrey Allen sees everyone moving into greater awareness. In fact, he documents evidence as being the simultaneous increasing rate of vibration that both the universe and us humans, and it’s accelerating rapidly. In the 1970s the universe was vibrating at 7.83 Hz. Then in 2014 it was measured at 24 Hz, and in 2017 it was measured at 40 Hz.

The risk of resistance Allen refers to as the X-zone – where the conflict leads to self-annihilation and we destroy the planet and the human race beyond repair. We have to look out for attachments, the need to play small and safe, needing control, which will keep us in the slow lane, and needing to be right and judging others. Judging others, he says, is a sign of progress, as long as we eventually let it go.

Jeffrey Allen depicts a world where if you turn inward first to be aware and present, you can then intuit what action and energy you send outward. This is what creates your self-driving life.

If this sounds crazy to you, I challenge you to disprove it.

If this sounds delightful to you, I challenge you to prove it.

Try letting go for a week. Surrender to doing what brings you joy before you get to your actions. Let go of what happens and expectations of rewards. Try trusting that there are forces conspiring in your favor, and let them do their magic. Whatever goes wrong, if anything, during this time, can be repaired if it’s meant to be.

I would love to hear the results of this experiment.

MindValley Reunion = Mind Blown!!

Part 1 in the MindValley Reunion=Mind Blown series, which continues next weekSunday morning my Uber driver asked if I was going to church, and I replied, “No.” That wound up not to be true at all.

It will be very challenging to portray exactly how immensely powerful this weekend was for me and 800 other people from 40 different countries. So, I’m going to break it into a series, starting with a summary of the sequence of speakers at the MindValley Reunion in San Diego.

First, let’s start with what is MindValley? That’s a good question, but a better question is WHO is MindValley.

Before this weekend I would have the told you that MindValley was a personal development publishing company led by a bold and forward-thinking pioneer, Vishen Lakhiani. Now, I realize that I am MindValley, and so are all my new friends, including some speakers that I have admired for a while now, as this company is much more about community and connecting than anything else.

Now, let me tell you how my Sunday experience turned out to be like church, but better.

It started out with a moving keynote from Don Miguel Ruiz, legendary author of one of my favorite spiritual teachings, The Four Agreements and his son, Don José Ruiz, co-author of The Fifth Agreement. This was the most moving keynote I have ever seen. 1600 eyeballs were streaming with tears in awe of the simple wisdom being bestowed upon us.

A couple hours later, world renowned hypnotist Marisa Peer, who I have shared with you , guided us through four modules of her Rapid Transformational Therapy, a program she co-developed with doctors to instantly rewire your neural pathways and reverse the toxic beliefs that keep you stuck in a life that doesn’t nearly reach its potential. It teaches you to be your own therapist.

Then after another brief encounter with Donna Eden’s (the world’s leading practitioner of energy medicine) husband, David Feinstein, who had been a traditional Psychologist until he met Donna, I ate lunch with Donna’s daughter (I didn’t realize this until after she and I exchanged compliments and she left) and as well as 3 medical doctors (an oncologist, a general surgeon/Functional MD/Cosmetic Surgeon and an infectious disease specialist). They had been eating with David, but he was just finishing, and when I learned that the medical doctors were sitting and conversing with David, I was really sorry I missed that exchange! Donna and David later demonstrated and led us through very simple and quick energy exercises that anyone can do to restore your body to balance and full energy. I needed that after Marisa dredged up some memories that left me a bit heavy.

The next speaker was not as spiritual, but he was moving, and has been a highly rated speaker, including for Tony Robbins, Eric Edmeades. He made us laugh, and gave me something to aspire to when it comes to standing for others’ transformations in my marketing and sales.

This was just ONE of TWO days of mind-blowing experiences.

By the end of this weekend I was (am) seriously considering an opportunity to move my family to Estonia for a month for an immersive educational and cultural experience for all of us.

I made friends with people from around the country and the world, including from Canada, Australia, Ecuador, Peru/Denver, Brazil, Lithuania, and I am sure some other countries.

Saturday started by having breakfast with a fellow coach, who gave me rights to share anything I want from his huge library of content, and he recommended 6 different resources to check out. He was my hero, because he found the cups for the coffee. I really needed it to absorb the concepts shared thereafter.

The speaker lineup Saturday started with someone who’s tips I have been sharing with my business students to help them craft compelling stories that will get them hired, AND, I got to tell her that. WOW!!! AND… She’s now my coach!! If you don’t know who Lisa Nichols is from her appearances on The Secret, Oprah, Steve Harvey, The Today Show, or any other myriad of appearances, you will! She knows how to move you into action, take away ALL your excuses, and make you realize how divinely precious your life is. I was furiously taking notes (through tears) so that I could capture her words, eager to share them with you. It won’t have the same impact, because, well, there is something incredibly different about being feet away from someone who can look you in the eye, touch your shoulder when she walks by, while you can also feel everyone around you reaching a new level of living, I have learned. Just, WOW!

Then it got very cognitive, in a global consciousness raising kind of way. Jeffrey Allen, former Department of Energy Engineer, now Energy Healer, shared how we evolve, denigrate into different states of living. That’s not what he called it, but his point was that we are all moving as a species and a planet toward a higher vibration, and there are two ways it can go, we can destroy the planet fighting trying to stay where we are, or go with the flow and surrender to the forces pulling us toward a higher state of mind.

The next speakers were introduced as the world’s sexiest grandparents, and, well, they must be. I can’t say too much about the topic, as it was racy, and the speakers asked that we keep the content among us, but I am hoping to apply the tips they shared and experience a whole new level of enjoyment in my life.

Lastly, Vishen himself spoke about how we can reset humanity based on 5 teachings from a scientist, a writer, a naturalist, a philosopher, and a mystic.

In the coming weeks’ blogs, I will be expanding on these teachings (except for the racy one,) so if you couldn’t be there with me, at least you can benefit from the amazing content shared.

In the meantime, I highly encourage you to check out MindValley and all of the amazing transformational programs they seem to launch on a daily basis, and keep your eye out for them, as they are quickly becoming a worldwide leading authority on transformational technology and experiences.

If there is anything in your life you would want to improve, they probably have a program for that. [Actually, they don’t have a program for careers. They do on purpose, but not careers – I’m hoping to change that!]

Have you ever been to an event that changed your life for the better?
